6/29/2009:  Revised from two events to one. Convert to a leadership seminar titled: “The Art of Empowerment for our leadership development?”

9/25/09:  Complete. Ms. Laura Owens completed here leadership seminar to a combined audience of local chambers of commerce at WKU facilities at ECTC.

DELIVERABLE 5: ECONOMIC ROUNDTABLE

5/18/2009:  Original forum canceled due to lack of enough people enrolled.
6/29/2009:  Changed venue to have the WIB and LTADD boards as the primary audience.  Rescheduled for 9/15/2009.  Complete.

7/20/2009:  Attempting to combine this with Deliverable 1o and have the class conducted using IRIE at WKU at ECTC and WKU Radcliff facility.
9/4/09:  Completed.  Class presented to EKU business class.

DELIVERABLE 10: IRIE DEMONSTRATION

7/20/2009:  Coordinating with WKU, ECTC, and IPI to hold the focused education pilot as the subject of this demonstration.  Awaiting confirmation from participating parties.

9/4/09:  Complete.  Demonstrated the use of interactive video to multiple locations during delivery of Deliverable 8, Focused Education Pilot.

DELIVERABLE 11: INTERACTIVE MENTORING DEMONSTRATION

7/22/2009:  SCORE demo of live video mentoring session scheduled for 7/28/2009 in Louisville.
7/28/2009:  Successfully completed initial demonstration at SCORE offices in Louisville.  Showed the use of widely available tools such as browsers, Skype, etc. to conduct interactive video counseling sessions.  Demonstration consisted of local video session within SCORE office, then with a session between SCORE office and a SCORE counselor in New Albany, Indiana.  Participants agreed to have a follow on demonstration (simulation) between SCORE office in Louisville and local client in Hardin County.  A copy of the report may be reviewed by clicking on the link below:

8/18/09:  Completed the second (simulated) demonstration of an interactive video session between a mentor and a client.  The session occurred between Mr. Cogswell (SCORE) from his home in Louisville and Mr. Walker (BurtWalker.com) from his home in Vine Grove.  The session was initiated using Skype, a publicly available free video service.  The session demonstrated the initiation of a Skype session and a discussion between the two participants.

DELIVERABLE 12: PUBLIC NETWORKING

7/20/2009: Contacted Ron Stephens about setting up public networking at WKU-Radcliff facility.  Awaiting response from his technical staff.

9/4/09:  Deliverable canceled due to security and privacy concerns.

DELIVERABLE 13: TECHNICAL SUPPORT PLAN

9/10/09:  Deliverable complete.  This consists of two documents.  An abbreviated Technical Support Functions document identifying some of the technical aspects of this contract, and a Site Management manual for the web site.  These documents can be reviewed by clicking on the following links:

8/10/09: A representative office has been completed and requisite office tools will be installed.  A comprehensive facility layout schematic for approximately 15,000 square feet of office and service space has been scheduled.

DELIVERABLE 18: INVESTOR RELATIONS

8/10/09: Meetings and interviews with angel investors (individuals and established organizations) have been focused on the immediate area including Jefferson and Warren and Fayette counties.  Several have expressed interest and their availability to review opportunities and assist in establishing financial assistance.  This network will continue to be expanded.
